The Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation (MVD RF), together with the Ministry of Digital Development of the Russian Federation, have launched a new service for bankruptcy trustees. Now, information about debtors' vehicles (individuals and legal entities) can be obtained directly through the Gosuslugi portal in the form of extracts from the state register.

This eliminates the need for in-person visits to the State Traffic Safety Inspectorate and paper correspondence.

The service allows for quick verification of registered vehicles, which is critically important in the initial stages of bankruptcy proceedings for the formation of the bankruptcy estate.

Since the launch of this feature in late May, trustees have already submitted over 500 electronic requests.

Conclusion:

Insolvency trustees are advised to check the settings of their personal accounts on Gosuslugi to access this new feature. This minimizes the risk of debtors concealing assets between the appointment of a trustee and the receipt of the data.
